Fidget Book

A lookbook that asks you to play.

Fidget Book prototype on an angled iPhone, showing a fan of fashion figures

From a picture to a playground.

What happens when a lookbook stops asking you to scroll and starts inviting you to touch? Fidget Book turns fashion imagery into a small, tactile world. Pull, tilt, swap and discover.

An image with a little give.

The prototypes explore two visual languages. One uses playful collage, suspended elements and balance. The other works with fans of figures, rotating products and layered reveals. The interaction is part of the art direction.

Made to try.

Fidget Book began as native iOS prototypes. An independent web version makes the idea accessible in a browser, with touch and pointer interactions. The existing demo is available through the link on this page.

A starting point.

This is a WATER studio prototype. It explores how existing imagery can become an interactive experience. Depicted fashion brands are part of the prototype imagery; this is not a commissioned campaign or an endorsement by those brands.
